Hi everyone, Welcome back! Come on in, have a seat. How are you? I'm exhausted at the moment. Not sure why, but last night's sleep was not restful. I blame it on the odd dreams I had. There's no need to get into the details here, but they were the kind of stories that have you waking up in the morning asking yourself, "Now, why would I have come up with that?" Maybe it was something I ate. Might try a nap later since there's no football on today, but for now, it's all about the coffee. We've got a... Read more →

Hi Everyone, My original intention was to sort of live-blog the big road trip to spring training in Fort Myers. However, it was more relaxing to just enjoy the experience at the time, and that was my top priority (clearing out the clutter can be draining, you know), so now that I'm back at Clutter Headquarters, grab yourself a medium iced DD (or a Sam Adams Spring Ale, depending on what time you're reading this), and let's review some highlights of the trip. FORT MYERS How you feel about Fort Myers is directly correlated with how you feel about highways,... Read more →

Thursday Clutter

Hi folks, It's a day ending in the letter "y," so it must be time to clear out some Clutter. Let's take a peek and see what we've got going on today. Hold on, I'm just waiting for BDH to finish making the coffee...ok, he's back, let's begin. It took a little while, but the Boston Red Sox finally won their first game on the road, beating the Oakland A's 5-3, thanks to home runs by Kevin Youkilis, JD Drew, and the almighty Jed Lowrie who continues to hit his way into the starting line-up. Carl Crawford continues to show... Read more →

Monday Clutter

Good morning, my friends. I hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was fine, though I'm still struggling with the end of the baseball season. It's always fun to cost the Yankees the division title, but I'm sorry to say goodbye to this team, particularly the departing Mike Lowell and possibly Jason Varitek. We all know how well I do with change, and this change has me so unsettled that I was at the gym at 7:30 this morning trying to regain my bearings. Those of you who know me know that doesn't happen too often. In fact, it's... Read more →

Here I go Again Clutter

Hi folks. This Clutter comes to you in the window where the medium iced DD with milk and sugar has long worn off, and the Sam Adams Summer Ale has not yet begun to be enjoyed. It's a bit of Clutter purgatory. Let's see where it takes us, shall we? I can't tell a lie, yesterday's Clutter didn't do the trick at all. I finally stopped humming "Seventeen" by Winger, but then couldn't get "Madalaine" out of my head. Oh, Kip Winger, you and your catchy pop songs. I shake my fist at you, but yet continue to whistle anyway.... Read more →
