Hi everyone, Welcome back! Come on in, have a seat. How are you? We were just listening to the heat kick in a bit. It's a little chilly in here, but that's okay, because winter is officially over, and warmer temperatures are on the way. The big drama now is waiting for the first buds to appear on the Clutter Tree, so we know the big guy is back in business for another year. That's probably still a little ways off though, so we'll find other things to focus on in the meantime. BDH and Little Buddha suggest we check... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back! Happy first day of spring! How are you? We had a great time at spring training. The Red Sox went 2-1, I beat Dad Clutter at mini-golf for the second time in my life (and met Hall of Famer Paul Molitor along the way), and while the forecast originally called for rain for the entire trip, it held off until minutes after we finished playing on our last day. The only problem, as always, was that the trip went by so quickly. BDH and Little Buddha had a blast, but now they're excited to get back... Read more →

Dad Clutter and I are once again in Fort Myers, so have a great St. Patrick's Day everyone, and we'll be back for more fun soon! Originally published: March 17, 2012 Hi everyone, Happy St. Patrick's Day from Fort Myers, Florida! Listen, I was all set to jump into today's headlines, but then it occurred to me that you're all out being crazy and won't be paying any attention to me. Hell, I'm sure BDH and Little Buddha have already grabbed a seat at the bar and are on their third beers. Am I wrong? Hearing no disagreement, why don't... Read more →

Hi everyone, In case you missed yesterday's Clutter, we're heading off for our annual spring training trip today! Everyone is so excited to watch the Boston Red Sox play over the next few days. I hope we haven't forgotten to pack anything. In any case, not sure what that means for our schedule here while we're gone. We're going to play it by ear, but one way or another, we'll be back later next week. In the meantime, be good, and we'll catch up with you again soon! It's time to take a trip! Everyone says death and taxes are the only two certainties in life, but there's something else you can always count on: No one does "epic" like Marvel Studios. They know how to do action, comedy, and the occasional bit of social commentary, but when times call for it, they can also bring the heroic on a scale that others can't match. The latest example is the new Avengers: Endgame trailer that was just released. From start to finish, everything about this clip yells, "Some monumental events are about to unfold here, folks. Prepare for the adrenaline rush!" People who don't... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back! Come on in, have a seat. Before we get down to business today, we just wanted to let you know that our annual spring training trip starts tomorrow. Not sure at the moment what that's going to mean for our programming schedule over the next few days, but we wanted to give you all a heads-up, so you don't worry if we're not here for a little bit. Now, back to the business at hand. How are you? We had a bit of a stressful Wednesday afternoon, because I misplaced the Boston Red Sox watch Mom... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back! How are you? I was just telling BDH and Little Buddha I had some weird dreams again last night. Don't know what that was all about, but it would be nice if my subconscious could maybe ease up a bit and let me dream about playing with puppies or something like that for a while. Anyway, it's a little cold outside at the moment, but the high temperatures are supposed to be in the 40's today and 50's tomorrow, so that's terrific. What's also great is the fact that the guys just brought in the coffee.... Read more →

Gianni Russo is best known by many people for his role in The Godfather as Carlo Rizzi, Connie Corleone's abusive husband who sets up Sonny Corleone to be murdered. (Sorry if we gave away a spoiler there.) However, it turns out that appearing in that classic film is only one of the many fascinating stories Russo has to tell, and he shares the others in his new book: Hollywood Godfather: My Life In The Movies And The Mob. (Release date: March 12, 2019) Russo grew up in a challenging home situation in Little Italy in the 1950's. A chance encounter... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back! Come on in, have a seat. How are you? I crashed last night and woke up wide awake at 4:00 this morning, although BDH and Little Buddha convinced me to stay in bed until 5:00. Not sure what that was all about. Maybe my internal clock is still adjusting to Daylight Saving Time. We spent that hour listening to the wind howl a bit, but at least it wasn't that arctic breeze we had a few weeks ago. The high temperatures will be in the mid 30's today, and then it's time to bring on the... Read more →

Captain Marvel is the story of a Kree warrior who is part of a war against the Skrulls, a race who can impersonate, down to the DNA level, anyone they see. She is also a woman who can't remember her past, except for various images that come to her in her sleep. The fight against the Skrulls eventually brings her to Earth, circa 1995, where she meets one Nick Fury. From there, while trying to accomplish her mission, she also seeks to figure out who she really is. This is the Marvel Universe's first movie with a woman in a... Read more →
