February 2019

Hi everyone, Welcome back. Come on in, have a seat. How are you? I woke up with a splitting headache this morning, so BDH and Little Buddha are in quiet mode at the moment. Don't know what brought this on. Anyway, we're at the end of February, and that's exciting. Even though I have to shovel later today, and there's still snow in the forecast, the year starts picking up speed in March. There's baseball, more sunlight, and eventually, it will be time to talk about gardening! Looking forward to all of that. In the meantime, the guys just brought... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back! How are you? The wind finally settled down around here, and the Clutter Tree is still standing tall, so we're good at the moment. It's also nice that the sun is rising early enough now that we almost don't need to turn on a light in the morning. I know there's snow in tonight's forecast, but spring is coming, friends. Spring is coming. Thanks to BDH and Little Buddha, we've also got coffee right now. The guys just put a fresh pot on the table, so help yourself to a nice medium DD, and let's clear... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back! How are you? Everyone here is fine, except we've had enough of this wind. It's never a good feeling when the walls start shaking a bit. The window wraps we use during the winter were at maximum effort yesterday. Thankfully, they're still intact, so the plants are fine, and we didn't lose power, but...enough already. I guess things are supposed to quiet down later today. In the meantime, BDH and Little Buddha say the coffee is here, so help yourself to a nice medium DD, and let's clear out some Tuesday Clutter. Michael Cohen will testify... Read more →

We weren't going to do it. No thanks. We've been hearing about Disney-Pixar's new short film, Kitbull, for days now, and we were not going to watch it. Review after review said the same thing: There's no way to get through this nine-minute film without crying. As much as we might like to act like a cynical crew around here sometimes (or at least some us *cough*), we're a bunch of softies at heart. Why would we want to watch something that would have us feeling the feels in the first 30 seconds? Pass. That was the plan, until today... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back, and a happy Monday to you all! Did you have the crazy wind we had here last night? We were woken up at least three times by the howling. I sort of expected to wake up in Oz this morning. Sounds like it's supposed to continue throughout the day. We've got an errand to run, and I'm thinking maybe if I jump high enough, the wind will just carry me to my destination. BDH and Little Buddha don't seem to think that's going to work. Their suggestion is that we all hang out for a bit,... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back! Come on in, have a seat. How are you? It's snowing a little bit at the moment, but I'm not sure if I'll have to shovel, since it's supposed to turn to rain this afternoon. BDH and Little Buddha need another new book to read. Any suggestions? Maybe we'll just stay inside and watch a movie today. In any case, there are plenty of headlines to sort through, and the guys just made coffee. Grab yourself a nice medium DD, and let's clear out some Sunday Clutter. Everyone is still talking about the news that New... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back for another discussion about "A Million Little Things." We've only got two episodes left in season one. (Or is it already season two? More on that in a bit.) This week's show gives us a little stalking, a look at the power of faith (however you define it), and a number of people feeling invisible. Let's jump right in... Warning: Spoilers ahead Observations: Rome gets the opening voice-over this week. It seems like whoever gets this spot gets a lot of attention in the episode, so we're off to a good start. We're assuming Drea de... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back, and a happy Friday to you all! What's on the schedule for the weekend? I don't think we've got anything major planned here at the moment. It might be a good time to catch up on some Netflix. We were just talking about how nice it is that the sunrises are noticeably earlier these days. I think we can turn off the lights about 30 minutes earlier in the morning than we used to, which is terrific. BDH and Little Buddha decided they wanted to celebrate this fact with some coffee. They just made a fresh... Read more →

Look out, brother: It's being reported that Chris Hemsworth will play the immortal Hulk Hogan in a biopic for Netflix. This should be something to check out. Hemsworth has already demonstrated with his portrayal of Thor that he's got the size, charisma, and sense of humor to play a larger-than-life figure. The movie will be directed by Todd Phillips, he of The Hangover fame. Phillips is also good with comedy and loud entertainment, so that also works. Our question is about the script. The movie will reportedly be written by Scott Silver and John Pollano. We don't know either of... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back! Come on in, have a seat. How are you? It's a little messy outside at the moment. We had a moderate amount of snow overnight, and I think it turned into freezing rain at some point. Today's high is supposed to be almost 50 degrees, so this should all disappear pretty soon. For now, BDH and Little Buddha want to hang out with you and the Clutter Tree, see what's going on in the world, and enjoy some coffee. Sounds good to me. They just made said coffee, so grab yourself a nice medium DD, because... Read more →
