October 2018

Hi everyone, Welcome back, and happy Halloween! BDH and Little Buddha are going as Mookie Betts and Steve Pearce from the Boston Red Sox this year. They don't really love going outside though, so they'll just wander around Clutter Headquarters, and I'll give them candy in each room until they fill up their bags. That also makes it easier for me to control how much sugar they have, so it works for everyone. By the way, is it just me, or did October go by quickly? Maybe it's the sleep-deprivation from watching the Sox games talking. Anyway, the guys made... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back! Come on in, have a seat. I was just talking to BDH and Little Buddha about tomorrow's Red Sox championship parade. I think we're probably going to watch it on TV. None of us loves crowds, and the guys would have a hard time seeing anything if we stand on the sidewalk, so staying here seems like the better call. The parade is going to throw our schedule out of whack a bit, but that's a terrific problem to have. We'll figure out how to minimize the disruption. In the meantime, let's see what else is... Spiders? Oh come on, not spiders. Let's be clear, if any other show had an episode featuring giant mutant spiders, we'd immediately see what else was on TV. Only the Doctor could get us to stick around for this, even if it means a week's worth of nightmares to follow. Okay, deep breath, here we go... Warning: Spoilers ahead Observations: We assume showrunner/episode writer Chris Chibnall was paying tribute to the Sex Pistols' Anarchy in the UK with this episode's title. Chris Noth, known to many for his roles on Sex and the City, The Good Wife, and Law &... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back! Our crew got to sleep about four hours ago, and we're all pretty loopy, but that's okay, because the Boston Red Sox won the World Series! We'll cover that in more detail in just a minute, but BDH and Little Buddha were so excited to see them win, they insisted on watching as much of the post-game coverage as possible before they finally agreed to go to bed. If exhaustion is the price to pay for watching that win, so be it. That's a trade we'll make every time. Don't worry though, the guys still made... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back! I know I said we might not be able to meet up today, but we've been a productive crew here (thanks to last night's Red Sox game ending at a reasonable hour), and the New England Patriots don't play until tomorrow, so that gives us some downtime until Game 5 of the World Series tonight. BDH and Little Buddha asked if we could hang out with you as soon as they realized it would work with today's schedule. They made a fresh pot of coffee, so help yourself to a nice medium DD, and let's clear... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back. How are you? I know we don't usually meet up on Saturdays, but this weekend's schedule has been thrown out of whack, and I'm not sure we will be able to connect on Sunday, and BDH and Little Buddha don't want to go that long without hanging out with you. It's a quiet day at Clutter Headquarters, as we're all recovering from the epic Boston Red Sox - Los Angeles Dodgers game. It went so long, the guys were able to stay up late, fall asleep for a few hours, and still wake up in time... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back, and a happy Friday to you all. What's on tap for the weekend? The World Series resumes tonight, so I'll be up past my bedtime again. It sounds like I might be able to sleep in tomorrow, though. BDH and Little Buddha say we're supposed to get heavy winds and rains on Saturday, so I don't think I'll be in a rush to do any errands that involve driving. For now, let's check out the day's headlines. The guys made coffee, so grab yourself a nice medium DD, because it's time to clear out some Clutter.... Read more →

It's great to finally have the Doctor back in action. After what felt like years of waiting, #13 and her friends jumped right into the action, and the new era is off to a strong start. The problem is that it leaves us even more impatient for each week's new episode to arrive. That's why we recently treated ourselves to The Thirteenth Doctor: The Many Lives of Doctor Who, from Titan Comics, to help pass some time between shows. Written by Richard Dinnick, and beautifully drawn by a number of illustrators, The Many Lives takes place right as #12 is... Read more →

Before we get into this week's episode, let's say cheers to the fact that ABC ordered three more scripts for A Million Little Things this week. With any luck, an order for a full season will follow. Now, our group of friends is working through the issues and secrets that they were hit with right out of the gate. This week gives Katherine the spotlight while the other stories advance at a reasonable speed. Warning: Spoilers ahead Observations: We find out that Gary has a dog, which immediately makes him the frontrunner for our favorite character. This week's episode is... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back! How are you? Before we go any further, BDH and Little Buddha want to know if you notice anything different around here. That's right, we're working with a new computer. The guys are excited to check out all of the bells and whistles and see if there's anything on it that they can use for your benefit. Before we go any further though, we have to give a shout-out to this computer's predecessor. That beast was here for at least 75% of our previous meetings at Clutter Headquarters over the last eight years, and we have... Read more →
