Welcome back! How are you? Yes, I know, it's Monday. On the other hand, January is almost over, which is nice. It just always seems like the slowest month of the year around here. According to the forecast, we may be returning to some colder weather and occasional snow over the first half of February, but we can handle that, as long as it's not at the levels of 2015. After that, next thing you know, it's March, and then that means gardening season is coming soon! Okay, I'm jumping ahead of myself. We've got headlines to sort through, and most importantly, we've got coffee! BDH and Little Buddha have your mugs ready to go, so help yourself to a nice medium DD, and let's clear out some Clutter.
Hey look at that, we may finally have found a true comment from Donald Trump. Will wonders never cease? Trump said in a recent interview that he's "not a feminist," and no one will disagree with him on that.
Do you think White House aides have a pool going about how long it would take Donald Trump to commit perjury if he goes through with a live interview under oath with Robert Mueller? We'd set the over/under at halfway through the first question.
On a similar note, we do not recommend making a drinking game out of Trump's State of the Union address tomorrow night. If you drink every time the Great Pumpkin lies, you'll be facing alcohol poisoning inside of the first 15 minutes.
ICYMI - This SNL skit about discussing the Aziz Ansari story is spot-on:
As many pro wrestling fans expected, former UFC champ Ronda Rousey made her WWE debut at last night's Royal Rumble event. She appeared after the women's battle royal and appears to looking at a spot at this year's Wrestlemania. The WWE announced that Rousey has officially signed a contract with them, and she insists she'll stick around for a while. Rousey, who has made a handful of WWE appearances in the past few years, has the physical ability and charisma to succeed in professional wrestling. The biggest question is whether she'll be a full-time participant, or if the WWE will pick their spots with her, much like they do with Brock Lesnar.

Who here caught last night's Grammys? What did you think?
We finally had the chance to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi yesterday. We'll give it a B/B+. It's a fun trip to the movies while not being a great movie. There's a deep reservoir of goodwill for many of the characters, and a few of the ideas are interesting. Plus, we'll be honest, we're a sucker for animated animals. On the other hand, the soundtrack is overbearing right from the beginning, and it doesn't let up. It feels like they're trying to cover up the fact that there's often not much actually going on at times. The plot is pretty thin, many of the scenes feel mechanical, and there are about 10 false endings that combine to dilute the actual finale. But again, while none of the actors were ripped off by not getting an Oscar nomination, it was fun to see Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher on-screen together one last time.
Okay kids, that's going to do it for now. Let's have Sting and Lady Gaga close things out with a live performance of, "King of Pain," for today's, "Song of the Day."
Thanks for stopping by, everyone. It was a treat to see you, as always. Enjoy the rest of your day, be good, and we'll meet up again for more fun soon. Until next time, that's today's Clearing out the Clutter, and we are outta here.
