Chester Bennington Tribute Concert

The remaining Linkin Park members held a tribute concert to their late singer Chester Bennington on Friday, October 27, at the Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood, California.  It was the first time the band played publicly since Bennington took his life on July 20.  We haven't been through the videos of the entire set list yet, but it was clearly an emotional night for both the band and their fans.  It looks like a variety of singers filled in, and band founder Mike Shinoda also handled vocals.  Bennington's absence is glaring in every one of these clips, but hopefully the band will find a way to move forward.

We say it so often here, but it's a message that can never be repeated enough.  If you are struggling with depression, please talk to someone.  It can be a friend or a doctor.  You can call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-8255.  We have a large number of readers around the world, so if you need help finding resources in your country, email us at bitsofclutter@gmail.com, and we'll see if we can find something in your country.  No one deserves the pain that comes with depression.  There is no easy one-size-fits-all answer for everyone, but you are worth the fight to find help.  Be good to yourselves, friends.  We want all of you here hanging out with us for a long time to come.
