Hi everyone, Welcome back! Come on in, have a seat. How are you? Today's forecast calls for rain, and I'm going to be cranky if it doesn't happen, because the garden really needs it. I mean, I'll just end up doing some watering later today if I have to, but some sustained precipitation would be much better. Until then, we've got plenty of news to cover. The coffee is ready, so help yourself to a nice medium DD, and let's clear out the last Clutter for the month of May. I always enjoy watching the Red Sox with Dad Clutter,... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back! Come on in, have a seat. How are you? I'm still adjusting to the summer sleep schedule at Clutter Headquarters. It's a balancing act, because obviously it's nicer to be able to sleep with the windows open, but at the same time, I forgot about the birds starting their day in the Clutter Tree at 4:30 in the morning. I'd love to know what they're talking about at that early hour. It's a sunny day, and that's great, but man do we need some rain around here. The tree looks great, but he could definitely use... Hi everyone, Welcome back! Come on in, have a seat. Happy Thursday to you all. I guess we've hit the warm part of the year, huh? I swear, I have no idea why I took a shower after the gym. I lost more weight on the walk back to Clutter Headquarters than I did working out. The big question now is how I'm going to rearrange some of the plants in here so I can install the A/C Hmm..well, I'll work that out later. The coffee is ready, so help yourself to a nice medium DD, and let's clear out... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back. Come on in, make yourself comfortable. How are you? We are dragging something fierce on this end right now. I slept something horrible last night, due to a combination of some aches and pains, the heat, and apparently just not being tired when I went to bed. The fan helped a bit, but then I woke up an hour early this morning, so it feels like I slept for about 15 minutes last night. Oy. BDH and Little Buddha promised to make the coffee extra strong, so hopefully that will help. Oh, here they are. (Say... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back! Come on in, have a seat. How are you? I hope you had a good long weekend. I spent most of my time working on the weeds in the garden. It was a pretty successful outing. I like to think I'm getting better at recognizing weeds than I was last year (and also getting better at not accidentally yanking real plants.) I'm also off to an earlier start than last year, so it's a work in progress, but it seems to be going well, and it's amazing how quickly the hours just fly by there. It... Read more →

Classic Clutter: Memorial Day Clutter

Originally published: May 30, 2011 Hi everyone, We're going to skip the news roundup today. Clutter Headquarters is a sauna, and BDH and Little Buddha asked me if I'd take them swimming, so we're going to head out and try to cool off a bit. I hope you're all enjoying a nice medium iced DD today. Let's have the Dixie Chicks take us out with today's "Song of the Day." This one goes out to all of the soldiers, and their loved ones, who've sacrificed so that a guy with a big head and his blue dog and miniature Buddha... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back! Come on in, have a seat. How are you? I'm sorry we couldn't hang out yesterday. What are you up to this weekend? I'm planning on enjoying some serious gardening time. It seems like it should be a great day for some weeding. However, we've got work to take care of here first, so help yourself to a nice medium DD, and let's clear out some Sunday Clutter! I was listening to sports radio in the car yesterday, and at one point, one of the hosts said something to the effect of, "The Red Sox can... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back! Come on in, have a seat. It's feeling a little chilly here this morning. I can't put away BDH and Little Buddha's winter pajamas just yet. In any case, it is Friday, and we've got a long weekend coming up. Do you have big plans? Oh, I'm being told that the coffee is ready, so help yourself to a nice medium DD, and let's close out the week with some Clutter. The Boston Red Sox lost 3-1 to the Texas Rangers last night. Clay Buchholz had a strong outing, giving up the three runs (two of... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back! Come on in, have a seat. What's new? BDH and Little Buddha were just watching some birds in the Clutter Tree. They could do that for hours. However, we've got work to do here. The coffee is ready, so help yourself to a nice medium DD, and let's clear out some Thursday Clutter! Joe Kelly had another strong outing, but the Red Sox bats were fast asleep as Boston lost 2-1 to the Texas Rangers last night. Kelly allowed the two runs over seven innings, but the offense couldn't do anything against Texas pitcher Phil Klein,... Read more →

Hi everyone, Welcome back! Come on in, have a seat. BDH and Little Buddha are thrilled to see you, and they think you all look very nice today. (They're such little charmers.) They tell me that the coffee is ready, so help yourself to a nice medium DD, and let's clear out some Wednesday Clutter! Let's see, last night's Boston Red Sox game included good company, a strong performance by starter Wade Miley (seven hits and two runs over seven innings), and home runs by David Ortiz and Mike Napoli, as the Red Sox beat the Texas Rangers 4-3. Yeah,... Read more →
