Tuesday Clutter

Hey everyone, Welcome back to Clutter Headquarters. How was your weekend? I hope you had fun and remembered to use sunscreen! Who wants to do some work now? Yeah, me neither. Why don't we procrastinate for a bit longer instead by grabbing a nice medium iced DD and clearing out some Clutter? Sounds like a plan. Hey, by the way, have you liked us on Facebook yet? If not, BDH asks you to click on the box over on the left there. Seriously, how do you say no to that smiling face? After a terrific road trip, the Red Sox... Read more →

Memorial Day Clutter

Hi everyone, We're going to skip the news roundup today. Clutter Headquarters is a sauna, and BDH and Little Buddha asked me if I'd take them swimming, so we're going to head out and try to cool off a bit. I hope you're all enjoying a nice medium iced DD today, and let's have the Dixie Chicks take us out with today's "Song of the Day." This one goes out to all of the soldiers, and their loved ones, who've sacrificed so that a guy with a big head and his blue dog and miniature Buddha can write about whatever... Read more →

Sunday Clutter

Hi everyone, Let's see, if yesterday was Saturday, then that must mean today is time for some Sunday Clutter, right? I'm pretty sure that's right. I'll know for sure once I finish my medium DD, but for now, let's see what we've got to clear out. Christopher Gasper from the Boston Globe says that the success of the Boston Bruins proves Claude Julien is a good coach. I defer to you hockey fans out there. Is this true, or is this the same kind of article Jimy Williams would have gotten in 2003 if not for Aaron Bleeping Boone? I... Read more →

Saturday Clutter

Hi everyone, Happy Memorial Day weekend to you all! Who's going to a BBQ? If you are, I hope you have better weather than I see outside right now, because it looks like it's going to rain any time now. I'm pretty sure that's supposed to burn off though. In the meantime, why not grab a medium DD first and clear out a little Clutter? The Boston Bruins are going to the Stanley Cup finals! The Bruins beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 1-0 in a Game 7 that has to be considered a classic. Listen, I don't know much about... Read more →

Friday Clutter

Hi everyone, Happy Memorial Day Weekend to you all! I suspect that today's Clutter is mostly being read by the select few of you who drew the short straw and are reading this at your desk instead of being on your way to the Cape. Well, I appreciate you stopping by, and the hell with those guys who are already working on their tans! You know what this calls for? A medium iced DD, of course! Grab yourself a cup, and let's kick off this long weekend with some randomness. The only thing hotter than the outside temperature right now... Read more →

Thursday Clutter

Hi everyone, Welcome back to the land of the random. How are you? It's a pleasure as always to have you join us. Dare I say it looks like the weather is continuing to improve? I did indeed end up having a crazy Wednesday. My friend's party ended up going until the wee hours, so I didn't get to bed until at least 11:00 pm. I know, I'm out of control. Fortunately, BDH was kind enough to have a nice medium DD waiting for me when I woke up, so let's get going, shall we? Dustin Pedroia came back from... Read more →

Wednesday Clutter

Hi everyone, Welcome back to Clutter Headquarters. Why yes, I did clean up the place a bit, thanks for noticing! BDH helped, he seems to enjoy sweeping. In any case, how's everything going? Can you believe we're midway through the week already? That's nuts. I don't mean to rush things along, but I have to get going soon. It's a busy day with a Doctor's appointment (nothing serious, don't worry), business meeting, and then a raging party that will surely last until dawn tomorrow. So, before I go, let's see what Clutter needs to be cleared out today. Got your... Read more →

Tuesday Clutter

Hi everyone, Welcome back to Clutter Headquarters. Come on in, BDH will take your coat. Have a seat. It's another cloudy day outside and the forecast calls for yes, that's right, more rain. However, at least it's warmer today, so that's something...right? No? Ok, I tried. Grab yourself a nice medium DD, and let's clear out some Clutter. Clay Buchholz did a great job against the Cleveland Indians for 7+ innings last night, but Daniel Bard couldn't hold the lead, and the Sox lost 3-2. That's always frustrating, but the biggest worry of the game came when Dustin Pedroia left... Read more →

Sunday Clutter

Hi everyone, How are you? What have you been up to? Someone tell me a story, doesn't matter if it's true or not, as long as it's entertaining. I've already made you a nice medium DD, so take your cup, and tell me a tale as we clear out some Clutter. I was wrong, the Rapture did take place yesterday after all, and I can tell you the exact time and location. It happened when all of the Red Sox were taken away from Fenway Park during the 8th inning of their game against the Chicago Cubs and were replaced... Read more →

Monday Clutter

Overheard on the Green Line: A red-faced man in a tie-dyed t-shirt and sweatpants apparently knew the conductor who asked him how he was. "How am I going? Not good. I finally got my Percocet this week, then Thursday, I fall, finally make it to the phone to call emergency medical services, and they stole my Percocet! (Starting to get teary.) I'm in spasm and they just steal 98 Percocet! It ain't right, man. It ain't right." There I was, minding my own business and thinking about dinner at Clutter Headquarters as a very quiet Sunday started to wind down,... Read more →
