Tuesday Morning Clutter

Hello, my friends. Happy Tuesday to you all. I know Thanksgiving just happened, but I'm struggling to grasp the fact that December begins tomorrow, so I'm going to do the only thing I can in this situation--completely ignore it. Instead, why don't you grab a cup of coffee and join me for a little Clutter? A Pentagon study on "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" shows soldiers don't care if an openly gay person serves in the military, so can we finally just move forward and abolish this ridiculous discriminatory law already? Former president George W. Bush uses "the Facebook." Dear President... Read more →

Monday Afternoon Clutter

Hi folks, It's time to grab an afternoon coffee and see what we've got going on so far this week. Ready? Here we go... President Obama proposes a two-year pay freeze for civilian government employees and then holds his breath waiting to see any sign of goodwill from the GOP. Here's a liberal deficit reduction plan to add to the conversation. We now spend as much on defense as the rest of the world combined. Who would like to join the "Tequila Party?" I should probably warn you first that this isn't a Sammy Hagar party. A new study says... Read more →

Sunday Morning Clutter

Good morning, my friends. Thanks for stopping by. It's a pleasure to see you as always. I hope you've all recovered from your Thanksgiving celebrations and first forays into the stores for holiday shopping. I'm already a little thrown off my schedule since the Patriots aren't playing today, but I'm sure I'll adjust. Go ahead and grab yourself a medium DD with milk and sugar, and let's see what's going on in the world today. The Obama administration is looking to see if they can find any GOP senators who will put national security before partisan politics to ratify the... Read more →

Saturday Night Clutter

Hi folks, I hope you're all having a great weekend. Let's catch up on a few bits of Clutter tonight, shall we? Grab your beverage of choice, and let's see what's new. Horrible to hear that Middlesex County Sheriff James DiPaola apparently committed suicide in a Maine hotel. I just can't believe that singer Willie Nelson was busted for pot possession. I need a moment. You really need to see the film "Inside Job" which clearly lays out the utter greed and fraud behind the current economic collapse. The harm done to this country over the last 30 years by... Read more →

Black Friday Clutter

Hello, my friends. I hope you all had a terrific Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for my family, friends, and for those of you who keep coming back to read the latest randomness. Grab yourself a medium DD with milk and sugar, and let's clear out some Clutter while continuing to wonder why someone would go to Sears at 3am for a bike. The first half of the Patriots-Lions game was way too close for me, but they set thing straight in the second half with a solid 45-24 win, and it's clear that they really are a better team now without... Wednesday Clutter

Happy Wednesday, one and all. If you're reading this from a smartphone, I wish you safe travels to wherever you're celebrating Thanksgiving this year. If you're reading this from your desktop because you drew the short straw and actually had to go to work, I hope you're getting out early. I'm taking the bus to NH later this afternoon. It's usually about a 75 minute long trip, but I'm going to set the over/under today at two hours. Anyone want to make a bet? Until then, I've got my coffee, and the iPod and BlackBerry are charging. Let's clear out... Read more →

Tuesday Morning Clutter

Good morning, my friends. I hope you're all enjoying the short week. I myself am looking forward to taking the bus home tomorrow, so I won't have to worry about any TSA staff getting frisky with me. It's normally about a 70 minute ride, but I'm setting tomorrow's over/under at 2.5 hours. I'll just make sure that the iPod is fully charged before I go. Ok, it's time to grab yourself a medium DD with milk and sugar, and let's take a quick look at today's Clutter, shall we? The TSA can fine you for walking away from a security... Read more →

2011 Tour of the Year?

I didn't see the American Music Awards (AMA's) last night. I don't remember the last time I watched a music awards show. They all blend together for me at this point, and Taylor Swift seems to be in all of them. No thanks. I vaguely remembered seeing an AMA commercial a few days ago that said the show would feature the first ever joint performance of the New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys. Hello 1989-1998! I understand they're touring together next year, so this was probably a good place to give people a sense of what to... Read more →

Monday Clutter

Hello, my friends! Happy Monday to you all. I'm sorry we had to go with an afternoon edition of Clutter. I know how cranky some of you get when it's not ready for you first thing when you sit at your desks. However, every once in a while the real world decides to take priority, and well, that's that. So grab a cup of whatever it is you drink in the afternoon (we don't judge here), and let's get down to business. There are few things better than a New England Patriots win over the Indianapolis Colts that ends on... Read more →

Won't Back Down Clutter

Happy Sunday everyone, Grab yourself a medium DD with milk and sugar, and let's clear out some Clutter while we wait for the Patriots to take on the Colts today. Sound like a plan? Here we go... Am I glad Nancy Pelosi will continue to lead the Democrats? Am I glad Nancy Pelosi will continue to lead the Democrats? You're damn right I'm glad Nancy Pelosi will continue to lead the Democrats. The woman's got more backbone then most of the members of her party, and she's exactly what they need to avoid the group panic they do so well.... Read more →
